As a young family, we know how important sport and recreation is in building stronger, healthier and happier communities.
A big part of our business is supporting local charities and sporting teams through sponsorship, donations and involvement. These sponsorship’s have often been for the teams of our employees and their families.
Sutherland District Basketball Association - Major Sponsor
Those at Sutherland District Basketball Association (Sharks Basketball), believe that Basketball is everyone’s game. The Association provides all community members with the opportunity to participate in both domestic and representative basketball in a safe, friendly and competitive environment – no matter their age or ability. The non-profit organisation has 2,000 members, and runs more than 3500 basketball games per year. The Association represents the Sutherland Shire, the St George and Bankstown regions and the Illawarra.
The stadium is now 40 years old and is in need of help for up keep and maintenance. In exchange for financial support, In 2019 Tori Peter Group took over the naming rights and committed to donating project management expertise to facilitate the building projects. Staff at Tori Peter Group also proudly volunteer on the fundraising and sponsorship committees.

Bangor Tigers Basketball - Major Sponsor
The Bangor Tigers are a local club who play Saturday basketball at the Sutherland Basketball Association. The teams are made up of primary school children who are learning the basic fundamentals of the game.
In 2018, Kirsten Accommodation (under the Tori Peter Group), became the major jersey sponsors of the Bangor Tigers by donating 50 jerseys to the club. Staff at Tori Peter Group also volunteer their time to help organise club games and training sessions at local schools.
Sporting Sponsorship - Minor Sponsor
Over the years, we’ve donated funds, jerseys and equipment to many local sporting teams.
These include:
– Mudgee local netball teams
– Menai indoor netball teams
– Menai local Oztag teams
– Mudgee local touch football teams
OUR LOCAL CHARITIES
Tori Peter Group supports local charities by offering financial donations, as well as accommodation packages and promotional items. We also love to spread the word, and encourage our clients and guests to donate.
The charities we support include:
– Pink up Mudgee – McGrath Foundation
– Pink up Parkes – McGrath Foundation
– 300 Bales: donating bales of hay to local drought-stricken farmers
– Country Women’s Association (CWA)

Kirsten Accommodation (as part of the Tori Peter Group), offers award-winning, luxury apartments in the heart of Mudgee and Parkes. We often give back to the community by donating accommodation packages to fundraising events for silent auctions or raffles.
